The Russell Ramp will be remodeled

In honor of Father's day and Russell turning a gazillion and one the ramp will be remodeled. Gong from a single ramp to a triple with a double switchback.
Will post pictures out the progress.
Architects,  engineers and designers spent several hours working on the final design that all could agree on.

Well they tried to get me.

Had transmission leak at the radiator and then exchanged for a new one since it was under warranty.
I put in the new one and it started leaking, figured out that the flare had cracked and you can't really get that part, was going to pull it and return, so I happen to have the old line from years ago and it was steel instead of brass, it also was long enough to remove the flare and reflare.
This should do the trick.

tine for the tightening sequence

Farmer who has donned mechanic underwear puts the final touch

The tension builds as the farmer who has donned mechanic underwear puts the final touch on the engine rebuild.
Resets a few things jury ribs the trans cable as the clip wouldn't stay on the throttle body. anticipation as I reset the different control modules.
It's now time to start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes while the computer set some things.
Engine starts right away....a good sign.....I have to walk away as my patience isn't very strong at the moment.
OK time for the real test, take it out and see how it shifts.......Success....around the block things felt good and also the trip on the fast road went great.....the shift is a smooth as a baby's butt and there is no funky downshift at the 45 or so range.
Will take it out in the morning and make surte it wasn't a dream....:)

Homemade Super Soil

Re purposed trash container used  as wheel barrow, the heat lamp protector use to screen soil and now some great soil made from the compose pile.

What were those white metal pieces for?

So you could see I was having a little design flaw, so I added the 1x2. You notice the pvc pipe holds about 2 quarts of water and has weep holes drilled about every 6 inches.

Interesting Day Today

Got up and got the kids off and then took some time to just enjoy and do a little meditation, after I went out and took care of the goats and chicken and ducks and baby chickens.
Finally got up and moving, had a second coat of red to put on a project, and when I went out and look my heart sunk, I was suppose to be installing tomorrow.

Basically I had to start over and hope I could salvage it.

Got home and started working on it , but had to go out to birthday dinner.....The customer texts and ask if we could wait till Thursday......................NO PROBLEM.......buy myself some breathing room.

Birthday present in action

Just got home from dinner and cranking up the bread machine.

Walk after dinner.

Taking the dogs for a walk after dinner.

My Birthday present

I inherited my Dad's bread machine and the belt went out and the cost of replacement parts if you could find.them was out of this world. So Ellen got me a new one hmmm she use to tell me how much she lived the bread.
